Harhoura

Dentist for patients from Harhoura, in Agdal (Rabat)

Harhoura, on the coast south of Rabat, combines permanent homes and holiday houses, and its population changes noticeably in summer. German Dental Clinic is not based in Harhoura: it is located in Agdal, and most of our patients from the coast make the journey by car.

For year-round residents, we provide the usual follow-up: check-ups, scale and polish, treatment of cavities. For those who are only here part of the year, for example families who return in summer, a full assessment at the start of the stay makes it possible to treat what needs treating within the time available, and to postpone the rest where that is reasonable.

Treatments that involve several stages, such as a crown or an implant, are planned around your calendar. If your stay in Rabat is short, say so from the first contact: the dentist will tell you what can be done within that time and what needs longer follow-up. We do not promise timescales that cannot be kept.

Frequently asked questions

I am only in Harhoura in summer: can I start a treatment?

Yes, as long as it is planned. An assessment at the start of your stay helps distinguish what can be completed while you are here from what requires follow-up. The dentist will suggest a realistic schedule at the first consultation.

How often should I have a scale and polish?

For many people, once a year is enough; others, who are more prone to tartar or gum problems, need more frequent visits. The dentist will tell you the right interval at your check-up.

Do salt and sand damage dental appliances?

Seawater and sand pose no particular problem for teeth or fixed restorations. For an aligner, a night guard or a removable denture, rinse it in clean water and keep it in its case rather than leaving it in the sun or heat.
