Restorative dental care in Rabat

Treating decay and the nerve of the tooth to keep your natural teeth for as long as possible.

In the vast majority of situations, a well-treated natural tooth remains the most natural way to chew, speak and smile. Restorative dentistry has a simple aim: stop a lesion before it compromises the tooth, then restore it so that it lasts.

At Dr Fenjero Walid's practice in Agdal, this care covers two main situations:

  • Tooth decay, from the early stage where cleaning and a filling are enough, to deep decay that requires a larger rebuild. See cavity treatment.
  • Damage to the nerve (pulp), when infection or inflammation has reached the inside of the tooth. In many cases, root canal treatment can then avoid an extraction.

Every treatment starts with a clinical examination and, if needed, a digital X-ray to measure the true extent of the problem. The treatment and its alternatives are then explained to you before anything is done.

Sharp pain, swelling or a broken tooth cannot always wait: see the dental emergency in Rabat page. For a check-up or a sensitivity that worries you, book an appointment: the earlier decay is caught, the simpler the treatment and the more tooth tissue is preserved.
